Sunday, Aahhhh

Today has been a nice paced day.  The fog was so thick that we stayed on board drinking coffee and enjoying a good breakfast. The fog cleared in time for us to dingy to the dock and walk to the bus stop for our ride to church.  There is so much construction on the tiny 2 lane road that we were surprised we made it on time.  After Mass we came back to the dingy dock area and had a fabulous lunch.  We were the only ones who wanted to sit inside but it is now unusual for us to dine indoors so we enjoyed the quiet.  The meals were so large that we'll have  the leftovers for dinner.  Next we came back to Blue Moon and got into worker mode.  We put another coat of varnish on then took the dingy to a store that caters to tourists and cruisers.  There is a dock behind the store that is located on one of the many canals with shopping carts just up the walk.  Next was a hot shower ashore  and now the Super Bowl.  Life is good.
The grounds as you approach the church.

The front of the church.  It is very pretty inside and out.

Approaching the stern in the dingy.

She's a shiny boat.  The stainless polishing really shows as it glints in the sunlight.

My route to the grocery store.

There are so many canals that were dug decades ago to increase waterfront property lots.  Really bad for the environment but I'm sure a lot of folks got rich.

This was an unusually shaped house on the corner of a canal  A pleasing combination of rounded and square lines.
