Other Bimini Stuff

As promised some things about the big building, a national treasure building and stuff!
Sadly, there is a lot of poor construction techniques on the island.  Not sure
if that is due to ignorance, unavailability of proper supplies or corruption.
We've heard all 3.  This is not untypical of houses here.  It will have pieces fall
off eventually an  will become one more abandoned building.  People were living in this one.

This very large building is going up behind the government building (the pink one in a previous picture)
It is being built to a very high standard as far as we could see and even if being roofed with metal.

This museum has some interesting signage outside of it but we've never seen it
open, this trip or the last.

This is the entrance to the Dolphin House.  One of my favorite places to visit on
our last trip to Bimini.  We didn't have the time or cash to do a proper tour today.

Mr. Saunders has spent the past 30+ years building and adding on and
doing the most marvelous mosaics throughout this house.  He had 2 stories
done 4 years ago but told us he planned another story.  He's well on his way.

Click for a closeup.  the colors and designs are wonderful

Not sure where this walkway leads but it was a pretty bit of landscaping.
