Other Amazing and Cool things

Here are some more thing we saw on our jaunt across the water.  After we came back from South Bimini we went for a walk along the southern tip of this island and up the other side along the coast.  We will have covered most of the 2 islands by the time we leave here either Saturday evening or early Sunday.  The current plan is to sail to the southern end of the Berry Islands, either Chub or Bird Cay and wait for good weather to cross to Morgan's Bluff on Andros.  I will probably not have Wifi  for a while but who knows, maybe I'll get lucky.
This bad boy was huge!!! Being a little boy at heart, David wanted to
poke it with a stick and watch the termites fly.

No camera filters here, just amazing shades of blue

This was a huge slipway for a now defunct marina on the south end of South Bimini.

The water in the Atlantic is still rough.  I'm glad we can stay put and avoid being out there.

The long ago freighter didn't make it to the channel.

Another angle on the wreck.

On the left is the end of the C of North Bimini.  The water beyond
is very shallow and headed to the Bahama Banks.

We walked the tide pools looking at all the tiny fish that have to wait for
high tide to move on.

This is one of dozens of conch shell piles all over the shoreline.  You
can't blow these since the fishermen cut a hole in the top to get the
animal out and that hole ruins the shell for blowing.
