Some Plants of New England

To continue in the plant vein.....
The marshes are full of cattails and other wildflowers.

Many of the paths we've walked  or biked have stands of wildflowers blooming.

I love these tall colorful flowers. Nothing like them in Florida.

Many folks really get into their gardens adding layers of color and texture.

Hostas are everywhere.  They never get this huge in our sub-tropical climate.

Japanese Maples were also in abundance.

These are Rose Hips.  The wild roses are all over New England and once
the flower fades and the hips form, you can collect them to make
jam or tea.

These bits of fluff are about the take off in a good breeze.
