Nature Walk

The area around their house is truly stunning.  There is the beach, lots of nature walks and town is only a few blocks away.  One day after nap, we went to a walk that climbed up a hill, wound around fields and paralleled a waterway leading to the larger bay.  It was low tide so that made for spectacular views of the flats.
Three generations of hikers.

Walking the path.

Lots of boardwalks protect the low-lying vegetation.

Carseat girl.

What big eyes you have.....

Franklyn loves his Grandpa.

This will be underwater at high tide.

Rocky ledges at low tide.  Not barefoot friendly.
Sign at the start of the trail.

This way explorers!!!

One of the pathways.
One of the waterways we crossed.  It feeds into the bay.
