Bradenton Yacht Club

Due to the hose blowup we didn't have too much time to enjoy the club and the surrounding area.  Usually, we like to ride our bikes down to the Emerson Point Park.  It is a wonderful combination of nature trails and historic sites with good interpretive signage.  Being situated on the end of Snead Island it has  tremendous views of the Manatee River, Tampa Bay and the ICW.  Oh well, we'll just have to make another trip down.  We were able to enjoy some great meals and drinks and we have running water so not a total loss!
This is our view.  It is the marina and dining room/lounge.

The front entrance is quite impressive.

We enjoyed a toast to the sunset from the swings.

Their outdoor tiki bar is a great place to sit and have a drink and meet
some of the club members.

We had a long way to go the day we left so we were shoving off at sunrise.
