Manatee River

We anchored out on the south side of the Manatee River for the first time.  We usually either go up to the Bradenton Yacht club or anchor on the north side by the nature.park.  We wanted to visit the Desoto National Monument Park which we've always had to bypass on previous visits to the area.  We also were waiting to meet up with Rikava on their way farther south before we go over to Bradenton YC.

There are several working waterfront establishments upriver from here.
This barge seems to take the crane wherever needed.
