GHC-2

On our travels, we went down any paved road and more than a few unpaved ones just to see what was there.  The island is very hilly and not what we're used to in flat Florida.  Cardio workouts for sure.  Plus the place is so full of gorgeous vistas and nice people.  The roads can be harrowing but the many and deep holes in the road keep speeds down.  In some places, it's barely safe for cars to pass and not break an axle so one gives way.  Not sure how they know who is the give-way vehicle but they do.

We biked to the end of the town (by the clinic) and walked out
to see the cut from a land view.

A nice dirt road to an erstwhile development.

This was one of the houses in the development that apparently ran out
of money or building materials and sits unfinished.

The tide here is about 3 feet so I need a stool to get off and on the
boat at low tide.

The nice sign to the development above.

Good looking guy by the cut.

This is $27 worth of groceries.  Eggs were $10 and the
Romaine was $14 then there is tax.

One of the great beaches around the island.

The house shown above had this garden started.  It also
had several pieces of lawn art.

A development that made it.  It was marked closed to  outsiders.

The appliances in the unfinished house.
