Back to the Eastern Shore

After bidding Carol and Andy so long, we headed back across the bay.  We planned our next stop to be Chestertown based on numerous recommendations.  It was a fair hop so we made it a three day trip enjoying the sights along the way.
First night was Bellybutton Beach.  We stopped there for no reason other
than the name.  No wild navels to be seen.

Looking for a project house?

Or Project lighthouse?

There is definitely money in something along the shore.  This was only part of
the magnificent manor being built along the river.

This is a more modest cottage on Reed Creek.  This was a
particularly nice find for an anchorage.  Well protected from all
directions and so peaceful.

You can see all the reeds along the shoreline, hence the name.

Weather coming at us was why we were looking for an all-round
anchorage.  Always nice to get a fresh water rinse when you're safely
tucked in.
