Critters of Key West

Key West is now known for it's variety of wondering colorful and wild creatures, not just the human kind.  The chickens are everywhere and the roosters seem to outnumber the hens.  Iguanas are a tourist delight and other critters as well.  From what we've heard, locals would just as soon have a big Bar-b-q and do without the nuisance of noise and mess.  Ah, Florida, the price we pay for that tourist dollar!

This chap wasn't all that colorful but he would hold still and get his picture taken.

The shore birds come around for the handouts and scraps.  Beats fishing, I guess.

This fellow was one of several at the post office.

These pelicans hang out at the fish cleaning stations in the harbor.  Life is easy.
